Colleen Ball

Mrs. Colleen "Glassie" Ball, 82 of Charlotte, NC died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Carolina Medical Center. Born August 29, 1931 in Burnsville, NC she was a daughter of the late Charlie Wilson and Mary Tolley Wilson. She was a homemaker, loved bird watching, gospel music and singing. She loved spending time with family and friends and the fellowship of her church in Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday December 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home . Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday December 16, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Johnson City, TN. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Colleen B. Malone; granddaughters, Daphney Tench, Rebecca Shipman, Tekisha Ball; grandsons, Joshua Ball; great grandchildren, Allysa, Carter and Sydney; sister, Edith Stewart and husband Sam; brothers, Steve, Michael, Burris Wilson; nieces, Missy Turbyfill and Lisa Cobb and many extended family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ball, Jr; daughter, Darlene Ball; son, James Ball Jr; brothers, Elige, Hobert, J.V. and Floyd Wilson.
