Clifford Wayne Key

Clifford Wayne Key, 75, of Charlotte NC died Wednesday November 24, 2010 at CMC University. Born November 26, 1934 in Charlotte, NC he was the son of the late Oren Quincy Key and Ruby Jones Key. A graduate of Harding High School he was employed with the Charlotte Fire Dept, Station #4 for 16 years, a self employed rental property owner and a member of Independence Hill Baptist Church for 45 years. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday November 28 At Independence Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Marlin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Angie Mullis Key, sons, Joey Key and Jimmy Key of Charlotte, Cliff Key and wife Renee of High Point, daughters, Annie Bell Key of Charlotte and Ronda Sifford and husband Kevin of Denver, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters Virginia Curlee and Judy Martin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman, 705 Griffith Street Suite 203 Davidson, NC 28036 or Independence Hill Baptist Church, 10220 Eastfield Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
