Claudette Honeycutt Cashion

Claudette H. Cashion, 85, of Davidson, NC died on Saturday, July 1, 2017. She was born October 25, 1931 in Davidson, the daughter of the late W. Lonnie Honeycutt and Ferrell Harwell Honeycutt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Cashion and step son Mark C. Cashion. She is survived by her two sons, Kent H. Cashion; Mitchell W. Cashion and his wife Kelly; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caleb and Ethan Cashion. In addition to her immediate family, she is also survived by her sister-in-law Linda Wigley and husband Don; and nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Cashion grew up in the Davidson and Cornelius areas, graduating from Cornelius High School, Class of 1949. After marrying Charles, she devoted her life to her sons and, later, her grandchildren.

Mrs. Cashion was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Cornelius, NC.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 10:00 am.
