Claude Thomas Queen, 67, of Denver, NC took his final ride on January 7th, 2020.
He was born in Robbinsville on December 19th, 1952 to the late Hubert and Vivian Queen.
Along with his parents he was preceeded in death by his niece Lori Lail, cousin Hal “Bug” Queen, and other beloved aunts uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie Farmer (John), Samantha Brewer (Scott) and Ashley Queen (Josh), and son, Stewart Queen; grandchildren, Kaitlen Newton (Cody), Braiden Springfield, and Sloan Brewer; brother, Jack (Brenda) and sister, Mary “Bubbles” (Danny); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he considered family.
Claude was an engine builder for various drivers in racing and could fix anything “from babies to bulldozers”. He loved his Harley Davidson, Jack Daniels, Budweiser, fishing, hunting, camping, lighting up the sky on the 4th of July (or any other excuse he could find to blow things up), watching Lil Buddy play baseball and football, and most of all his kids and grandkids.
You knew you were truly loved when you were in a big bear hug being tickled by his mustache or he called you dummy. Everyone had a nickname and typically only the two of you knew why.

He always had a way with words and once told a good friend: “Don’t lift until you see Jesus or shit your pants”…it was his time to lift.
