Christopher Scott Moeller of Huntersville, NC, passed away on December 31, 2014 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, after he lost his long battle with ALS. He was 47. Mr. Moeller was born in Plainfield, NJ and grew up in Watchung, NJ where he graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School. He received a BA from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA and did two years of graduate school in character animation at CA Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA. He was employed by Film Roman in Hollywood as an animator for "The Simpsons" and a director of "King of the Hill". He also co-created an animated TV series, "Tripping the Rift" which ran on the SyFy channel for two years. He is survived by his mother, Sue Ann Moeller of Cornelius; brother Jeffrey, sister-in-law Stephanie, niece Trish and nephew Kurt, all of Denver, NC. Also an aunt, Jane Skinner and cousin Patrick Eldridge of Olympia, WA and cousin Katherine Eldridge of Park City, UT. He was predeceased by his father, H. Walter Moeller. The family wishes to thank caregiver Barbara Matthews and her family and to Melissa Lynch. Also, thanks to the wonderful doctors and staff at the ALS Clinic in Charlotte.
