Ms. Wiley, 76, of Huntersville, passed away Tuesday, August 30 at Stanley Total Living Center. Ms. Wiley was born on January 26, 1935 in Coddle Creek, NC to the late Charles Bell Young and Sara Jane Keller Young. She worked in manufacturing for three years. She received her high school diploma in 1987 from CPCC and was a four year survivor of breast cancer. Ms. Wiley is survived by one son, Ron Wiley (Susan) of Rock Hill, three daughters, Bonnie Logan of Huntersville, Sue Wiley of Stanley and Ameta Wiley Starkey (Jorge) of Iron Station. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Young of Statesville and special niece Ann Hyde (Jimmy) of Charlotte, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents and sister, Mary Josephine Starnes. The family would like to thank the staff at Stanley Total Living Center for their kindness and loving care. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday, September 2, 2011 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herald Smith and Rev. McCray Holmes officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:30 at the funeral home. Internment will follow at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 505 East Blvd., Suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28203.
