Cecelia Henkel Digh

Cecelia Henkel Digh, 79, of Denver, NC passed away on June 8, 2016 in Huntersville, NC.  She was born on May 28, 1937 in Belmont, NC to the late John Henkel and Lena Dellinger Henkel.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Joe.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Frank B. Digh; son, Barry Digh;, daughter, Laura Rogers and her husband Rick; daughter Myra Grant, daughter Julie Digh; grandchildren, Jay Bennett (Rachel), Stefany Bennett ( Ian),  Will Grant; great-grandchildren, Kate, Sullivan, Silas, and Madelyn.

Cecelia was a member of the Hills Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also an avid golfer, who enjoyed the beach, and loved her dogs KoKo, Bandit, and Munchkin.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Hills Chapel Methodist United Church, Stanley, NC. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
