Carolyn Marshall Amon Berndt, 78, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on March 23, 2019.
She was born in Coraopolis, PA on June 20, 1940 to the late Elbert Amon and Alice Amon. Along with her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husbands, William Smith and Roger Berndt; and sisters, Patsy Braly and Peggy Ann Trunick.
She is survived by her son, Jason Smith and his wife, Angie; grandchildren Sean, Colin, and Bekah; daughter, Terri Lynn Berndt; brother, Dale Amon; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with the burial to follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery, Cornelius, North Carolina.
Carolyn loved her two dogs, Teddy Bear and Scrappy. She also loved to knit, sew, and to do crafts. She loved spending time with her family, cooking out during the summer, and watching the grandkids swim. She loved putting flowers out during the summer and playing cards. She was an outgoing person who loved to talk with everyone and could always be found with a smile on her face.
