Caroline Armstrong

“The first eyes we see, the first hand we hold…”

Caroline A. Armstrong, age 68 of Cornelius, NC, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017.

Her brother, Albert Seward, who passed away in March of 2015, precedes her in death.

Caroline, known as Carol, was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and The Berkley Institute in New York.  She spent much of her life in Somers, NY doing what she loved most – taking care of her family.  In her later years, she worked at Whitby, UCB, Berlex & Bayer Pharmaceutical Companies as a Sample Accountability Analyst.

Carol is survived by her three children, their spouses, grandchildren and her grand-pets: Hank & Paula Armstrong of Cornelius, NC; Mike, Becky, Michael, Emily & Tommy Loniewski of Aberdeen, NJ; Michael, Sara & Watson Armstrong of New Richmond, WI.

Carol was loved by all for her ability to make everyone feel at home.  She saw life as an opportunity to do nice things for others.  Carol made sure her home was always a place you wanted to be, where there was fun and a little magic.

Carol spent her final days surrounded by her family and the volunteer angels at the Serenity House in Mooresville, NC.
