Carol Rasmussen Houck

Carol Jean Rasmussen Houck, 73, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at her residence.

She was born August 8, 1946 to the late Edward Rasmussen and Francis Sumnicht Rasmussen.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, George Gretz and grandson, Matthew Foster.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Mitzi Foster of Mooresville, NC, and Shannon Todd of Mt. Ulla, NC; grandsons, Austin Todd and Ethan Todd; great-grandchildren, Maloree Foster and Matthew Todd; sisters, Linda Martin, Nancy Davis, and Mary Fiane, all of Wisconsin; brother, Dave Rasmussen of California; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, North Carolina.  A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8516, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
