Carol Yvonne Deal

Carol Yvonne Davis Deal, 75, of Huntersville, NC went to be with her Lord on November 3, 2011. She died at Duke University Hospital. Carol was born September 20, 1936 in New Bern, NC to the late Zeb Jefferson Davis and Ruby Elizabeth Hudson. She was a graduate of New Bern High School in 1954 and after 26 years with the former First Union Bank in Charlotte, she retired as Assistant Vice President. Carol was a member of The Grace Covenant Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Willis E. Deal , daughters, Catherine Deal, and Vickie Parks both of Huntersville, NC and Debbie Wikander (Ernie) of Charlotte, NC, son Clinton Deal of Huntersville, NC and 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A service of remembering and celebrating Carols life will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at The Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Rd, Cornelius, NC. from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM. with Pastor Paul Turbedsky officiating. Interment to follow at Northlake Memorial Park, Huntersville, NC. Memorial contributions may be made to Deal Parks Childrens College Fund, 8933 Shields Dr. Huntersville, NC 28078.
