Carmela Marie Reitmann

Carmela Marie Reitmann, 88, of Cornelius, NC passed away on October 6, 2017.

Carmela Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 16, 1929 to the late Anthony Tomasso and Helen Zito.

Along with her parents Carmela Marie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Erich Robert Reitmann and daughter, Donna Marie Fessina and her five sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph and Robert Comeau; daughter, Dr. Sharyn Comeau and Deborah Gagliotto; son-in-laws, Anthony Fessina and Louis Gagliotto; and her six beautiful granddaughters, Victoria, Lauren, Amanda, Ashley, Maria and Eve.

Carmela Marie was a loving wife, dedicated mother, best grandmother ever, expert custom seamstress, and a floral designer who walked to the beat of her own drum and “did it her way.”

She is known best for her beautiful smile, bright eyes, and warm heart.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
