Carl "Jack" Rohlen, 70, of Charlotte, died March 22, 2014 at the Novant Health Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jack was born on March 28, 1943 in Hampton, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Staubus Rohlen. Survivors include his wife Patricia Keenan Rohlen, Charlotte, NC; Sons, Christopher (Claire) Rohlen, Ball Ground, GA and Bradley Rohlen (Cindy) both of Concord, NC; Granddaughters are Chelsie Rohlen and Madeline Fine; Grandsons are Casey, Jake, Nick, Max, Keenan and Severns Rohlen; Sisters are Phyllis (Charles) Gordon, Danvers, IL and Sharen Little, Bloomington, IL ; Brother-in-law, Kirk (Alice) Keenan, Eureka, IL along with several nieces and nephews. Jack attended Danvers Schools and worked to retirement at Bridgestone/Firestone OTR in Normal, IL. Jack was an avid race fan, from dirt tracks in the Midwest to the speedways in the South. He enjoyed fishing and golf with his many friends. He will be greatly missed. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Huntersville, NC is assisting the family. Celebration of his life will occur at a later date in Lexington and Danvers, IL. Memorials may be sent to the American Lung Associations, the American Heart Association, the Cancer Research Institute, or to the charity of one's choice.
