Carl Theodore Berczek

Carl Theodore Berczek, 81, of Mooresville, NC passed away peacefully on December 14, 2017.  Carl was born in New Kensington, PA to the late John and Jean Berczek, residents of Canandaigua, NY.

Carl’s career was vast, beginning as a tool and die fabricator, but was highlighted when he founded J&C Campers in Canandaigua, NY in 1978.  Also during this time and upon selling the business, Carl was quite the real estate entrepreneur. In 2007, Carl and Romaine retired to Lake Norman.

Carl is survived by his wife of 56 years, Romaine Mary Berczek; children, Carl T. Berczek Jr., David J. Berczek and his wife Angela, Eugene F. Berczek and his wife Sandra, and Diane R. Berczek Adams and her significant other, Al Fiore; grandchildren, Mackenzie & Nathaniel Berczek, Benjamin, Stephen & Christopher Berczek, and Brandon & Tiffany Adams; brother, John F. Berczek, Jr. and wife, Virginia; sisters, Alice Shriver, Rose Jannello and Mary Bevitori.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Therese in Mooresville.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral mass starting at 1:00 pm.
