Cameron Wade Shelton

Cameron Wade Shelton, 23, died June 22, 2012 in his home in Huntersville, North Carolina. Cameron was born on September 6, 1988, in Greenville, S.C., to parents Barry Lee Shelton and Kay Ingram Shelton. A graduate of North Mecklenburg High School, he was enrolled at UNC-Charlotte and was set to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Finance in August. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, a Scout, a talented guitarist, and a friend to many. He is survived by his parents, Barry and Kay Shelton of Huntersville; his brother and sister-in-law Cory and Kristen Ingram of Charlotte; his sister Allison Georger of Huntersville; his brother and sister-in-law Lee and Courtney Shelton of Charlotte; his aunt Sandra Calmes of Greenville, S.C.; his aunt Sally Hagood of Anderson, S.C.; his grandfather Nathan Shelton of Taylors, S.C; two nephews and a niece. A memorial service remembering Cameron will be held on Thursday, June 28th, 2012, at 2:00pm at Huntersville Presbyterian Church, located at 201 S. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville.
