Bruce Lee Stewart, 67, of Davidson, NC passed away on August 11, 2018.
He was born January 12, 1951 in San Francisco to the late Robert and Helen Stewart.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Stewart; daughters Holly Stewart (Ethan Giller) of Fort Collins and Lauren-Kate Stewart of Davidson; granddaughter Avery Helen; brother Christopher Stewart; and nephew Daniel Stewart.
Bruce's career as a software engineer spanned 35 years and he continue to pursue his passion for computers in retirement.
Bruce was passionate about education, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English, and Masters Degree in Educational Development. He spent his free time in the outdoors, from hiking trips in the hills of California, to tending his yard and garden in Davidson. Most of all, Bruce loved investing his time in the interests of his daughters. He will be remembered fondly for his love of coaching Holly’s youth sports teams, and teaching computer programming classes as a part of Lauren’s schooling. Bruce was a big kid at heart, and his infectious smile and laugh will be missed by all those who knew him.

A service will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:30PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. A visitation with family and friends will follow the service.
