Brian J. Early

Our family is sad to announce that Brian James Early passed away unexpectedly on November 10th from a heart attack at the age of 56. 

Brian was born on January 11, 1961 to Oscar and Janice Early in Knob Noster, Missouri, and spent his childhood in Aurora, Colorado with his siblings Kevin and Robin. He attended Ozark Christian College where he met his wife of 34 years, Donna Early.

Brian and Donna spent their lives serving in churches all over the Midwest before settling in Huntersville, North Carolina where they planted a thriving church and continued to serve, teach, pastor, and love people in every community of which they were a part. More recently, he devoted himself to learning real estate and had begun to build a successful career.

He loved all-things-sports, music, playing with his grandkids, and spending time with his wife and family. He was a loving husband and best friend to Donna; the #1 dad to Bethany (Scott), Aaron (Jessie), Jacob (Amy), and Hannah (Jasper); “Poppi” to 8 grandkids; and a dear friend to many who will miss him deeply. In addition, he is also survived by his mother, Jan, and siblings, Kevin and Robin. We will all miss his sense of humor, his joy, his ability to fix anything, his gentleness, and his wisdom.

A public visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, immediately followed by the memorial service at 2:30 pm on Tuesday November 14th at Davidson College Presbyterian Church.
