Brenda Mayhew Ervin

Brenda Mayhew Ervin, 75, of Cornelius, NC passed away March 1, 2018. Brenda was born December 2, 1942 to the late VanBuren Mayhew and Nellie Reid Mayhew.

Brenda was a wife, mother, Mawmaw, sister and friend. She loved nothing more in life than her family, and every opportunity she had, she would let them know.   She was truly the rock of the family and will be deeply missed.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by; brothers, Jack Mayhew and Sonny Mayhew; and sister, Claudine Ramey.

Brenda is survived by her loving family; husband of 57 years, “Santa” Gene Ervin; daughters, Teresa Palmer and her husband Harvey, Angela Ervin and her husband Steve; son, Cale Ervin and his wife Holly; grandchildren, Christy, Will, Waylon, Kasey, Travis and Kenzie; great-grandchildren, John Charles, Rebekah, Calvin and Jaxon Hoyt; siblings, Dorthy Ramey, twin sister, Linda Kiser, Bobby Mayhew and his wife Mickey; sister in law, Diane Posey and her husband Carl.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with a visitation to follow the service.
