Brenda Kay Bordeaux

Brenda Kay Bordeaux, 57, passed away on December 20, 2018  in Charlotte, NC.

She was born on August 26, 1961 in Columbia, SC to the late Joseph and Inez Dawes.

Brenda is survived by her son, Matt Bordeaux; brother Joey (Pam) Dawes; and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda was a member of Kathwood Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. She attended South Carolina University, loved watching them play football, and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. Brenda was known for her huge heart. She loved being outdoors, enjoying the pool and the beach. Known for having a green thumb, Brenda has a passion for working in her yard and gardening.   She also enjoyed animals, especially dogs.

A loving mother, she enjoyed watching her son, Matt, play sports throughout the years.

Along with flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will recieve friends for a gathering from 11:00 am until the start of the service.
