Bobbie Jean Thompson Barnhardt

Bobbie Jean Thompson Barnhardt, 80, of Huntersville, NC passed away on January 2, 2022.

She was born in Charlotte, NC on March 28, 1941 to the late Shady B. Thompson and Amelia “Ruth” Thompson.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and her sister, Betty Perry.

Bobbie Jean was a member of the Charlotte Area Shaggers Hall of Fame and loved all the good shag music there was.  She was also a huge George Strait and Elvis Presley fan. 

She is survived by her daughter Sandie Rumfelt and nieces and nephew, JoAnn, Kim and Eddie.

A celebration will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC .
