Bobbie Almond

Bobbie S. Almond, 86, of Charlotte, passed away June 5, 2015 at Huntersville Oaks. Born in Red Banks, Mississippi to the late William and Annie Mae Shoffner, she is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Almond and son; Lloyd Almond Jr. She was a past member of the PBX Club, an active member of the Hot Dog Program at Trinity UMC and also involved in the Trinity UMC Women's Organization. She retired from Duke Energy as a PBX Operator. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons; Eddie Bullard (Faye) and Bill Almond (Peggy), 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and her beloved Trinity UMC family. A funeral service will be held June 9, 2015 at Trinity UMC at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service. The burial will follow immediately after the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
