Betty Lou Christenbury

Betty Lou Christenbury, 72, of Huntersville, NC passed away Friday December 12, 2014. Betty was born July 14, 1942 in Charlotte to the late Joe and Grace McGinnis Christenbury. Betty worked in the textile industry for many years. She is survived by her loving family; sons, Hugh Norwood and Joe Norwood, both of Huntersville; daughter, Lynn McGhee (Garry) of Maiden, NC; grandchildren, Crystal Peters, Brittany Norwood, Shannon Angel, Stacy Guy, Joshua Norwood, Joe Norwood; seven great-grandchildren; caretakers, Jackie Johnson, Josh Norwood. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by daughter, Kate Grace Norwood and sister Elizabeth Grace Haigler. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm , Sunday December 14, 2014 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
