Betty Ann Kirk

Betty Ann Otto Kirk, 78, of Denver N.C., passed away February 3, 2018.  She was born on August 29, 1939, in Louisville, KY., daughter of the late Peter and Sara Thorpe Otto.   She was married to James ( Jim ) Kirk in 1960.  She moved to Wilmington, N.C. in 1968, where she was employed by Corning.  In 1997, she relocated to the Charlotte area. 
 
Betty is survived by her husband Jim, and three daughters, Kimberley Stewart (Dale ), Stacy White ( Chuck ), and Lara Mendez ( Joe ).  She is also survived by her sister Nancy Farmer ( Sam ).  Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren; Kirk, Sara, Madison, Mackenzie, Jake and Miranda, and three great grandchildren; Roland, Arabella and Hadley. 

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, February 7, at 5:00 pm, at the residence of Kim Stewart, 5301 Mountain Point Lane, Charlotte. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association, 4600 Park Road, #250, Charlotte, N.C.  28209.
