Betty Little Howard

Mrs. Betty Little Howard, 86, of Denver, NC died February 18, 2015 at her residence. Born November 28, 1928 in Lincoln county she was a daughter of the late Durant Hartsell Little and Florence Howard Little. She was a lifelong member of Fairfield United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and attended Salem United Methodist Church in later years. She was employed with Burlington, Cascade Division early in her career and retired from R.H. Bouligny after 30 years of service. She also enjoyed singing in the Gospelaires . Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 21. 2015 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Killian officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Harold Howard, Jr and wife Shelia; daughter, Marilyn Loftin and husband Toney; sister, Frances Brotherton of the Huntersville Oaks; special niece and friend, B.J. Caldwell; grandchildren, Wesley Howard and wife Micki, Randy Howard and wife Katie, Jeffrey Loftin and wife Laura, Phillip and Alex Loftin; great grandchildren, Lauren, Landon, Evan and Paisley Howard, Blake and Lucas Loftin; brother-in-law, Billy H. Howard and wife Joyce of Lowesville, NC and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Howard, Sr. and brother, Alexander Little. Memorials may be made to Fairfield United Methodist Church, P. O.
