Betty Jane Funderburk

Miss Betty Jane Funderburk, 83, of Monroe, NC formerly of Huntersville died Monday June 27, 2011 at the Jesse Helms Nursing Center. Born August 20, 1927 in Anson County NC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce Funderburk and Maranda Biggers Funderburk. Miss Funderburk was a 1945 graduate of Central High School, graduated from Queens College in 1949 and retired from Mercy Hospital after 40 years as a medical technologist. Memorial Services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday June 30 at Central United Methodist Church in Monroe. The family will receive friends following the service.
