Betty L. Caudle

Betty Love Caudle, 90, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on September 17, 2023. She was born in Union County, NC on August 8, 1933, to the late Theron and Ora Love.

Betty will be remembered for the love, warmth and kindness that was ever present to those around her, most especially her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed church, time with family and friends, and gardening.  She was a member of Derita Presbyterian Church for 50 years.

Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul Caudle, Jr.; brothers, Thermon, Horace, Wilbur and Dorton Love and sister, Shirley Lowery.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Gary Mitchell, and Nancy and Tim Cooper; and grandchildren, Leah Finch, Chelsea Cooper (Craig), and Jake Cooper (Valerie); and beloved caregiver, Raquel Williams.   

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations, in Betty's name, be made to Derita Presbyterian Church, 2230 W. Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, 1:00-1:30pm at Derita Presbyterian Church located at 2230 W. Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262. The funeral service will be held at 1:30pm with burial following the service at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
