Bette Ann Southworth

Mrs. Bette Ann "Betsy" Muir Southworth, 69, of Huntersville, NC died Tuesday November 29, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville. Born October 1, 1942 in Louisville, KY she was a daughter of the late John Muir and Bette Poschinger Muir. She was a classy lady who enjoyed gardening, painting, shopping and playing games with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday December 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Albert Wade Ogle officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the burial in the fellowship hall. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband, Peter Southworth; daughters, Katherine Campbell and husband Melvin of Charlotte, Stephanie Southworth of Anderson, SC, Jenny DePompa of Charlotte; sister, Sandi Daniels and husband Michael of WA; grandchildren, Courtney and Justin Brown, Reece and Betsy Campbell and Robert and Ricky DePompa.
