Benjamin Hubbard

Mr. Benjamin Franklin Hubbard, 83, of Concord, NC died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at CMC Northeast. Born March 5, 1929 in Mecklenburg County he was a son of the late James Oscar Hubbard and Mary Louise Grier Hubbard. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Harrisburg, a former member of Gilead ARP Church and retired from Barton Security as warehouse parts clerk. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Gilead ARP Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Susan Elaine Kinney and Sandra H. Weaver of Kennesaw, GA, Sylvia D. Lord of Charlotte; brother, Joe T. Hubbard of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Phifer Hubbard; four brothers and one sister.
