Barbara H. Smith

Barbara Hazel Smith, 79, of Denver, NC passed away on April 21, 2018. She was born in Mecklenburg County on September 28, 1938 to the late, Norman Kellough and Hazel Kellough Roberts.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wade C. Smith; daughter, Sherry Short; son, Gary Timothy Short; son, Perry Sandy Short; sister, Norma Lee Godfrey (Steve); brother, Norman Kellough; and sister, Brenda Roberts.

Barbara is survived by her son, Joseph Smith; granddaughter, Tiffany Short; great-granddaughter, Chloë Kennedy; sister, Joyce Willis (Bob); brother, Lester Kellough (Brenda); brother, Harry Roberts (Barbara); sister, Cheryl Grooms; and many nieces and nephews.
