Barbara Linn Seefus

Barbara Linn Seefus, born June 6, 1935, in Cherokee, Iowa to the late John Blake and Chrystal Stevenson passed away peacefully on August 1, 2011. She spent much of her life in education and as a volunteer for the local hospital in the Antelope Valley in Lancaster, CA. In 2006, she relocated to Charlotte, NC to be closer to her family. In her short time here, she was able to see two grandchildren graduate from High School as well the enlistment of her grandson in the US Navy. Upon reaching Charlotte, NC she was able to spend each holiday with her loving family. She is survived, and will be dearly missed, by her loving son Doug and his wife Helene of Denver and daughter Cindy Japec of Huntersville, and four grandchildren, Jordyn and Tiffani Japec and Blake and Madison Seefus. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 5PM at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Rick Felts officiating.
