Barbara Gordon McFeely

Barbara Gordon McFeely, 86, of Huntersville, NC passed away on November 3, 2019.

She was born in Hamilton, GA on October 3, 1933 to the late Walter Gordon and Mable Smith Gordon.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Col. Horace F. McFeely.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Patricia M. Wood and her husband, Ron; and granddaughter, Claire Addison Wood.

Barbara had a unique and eclectic personality. She loved to travel and some of her favorite trips were taking cruises with her family and friends. She loved to dance and enjoyed listening to Big Band and Swing music.  She enjoyed going to the movies, reading spy novels, playing bridge, and she never missed her Sunday crossword puzzles. But above all, the sun rose and set with her cherished granddaughter Claire, who was the joy of her life.

A private memorial will be held with the immediate family at a later date.
