Mrs. Barbara Ann Tadlock Jackson, 80, of Huntersville, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her daughter's home in York SC. She was born on February 10, 1934 in Charlotte to the late Gilmer Tadlock and Ollie Tadlock Efird. Prior to her retirement she was employed with Piedmont Natural Gas Co from 1967- 1991. A celebration of her life will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Monday December 29, 2014 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. Gloria Tadlock officiating assisted by Donald Tadlock. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Tadlock and husband Gene of Huntersville, NC and Rebecca Forrester of York, SC; sister, Libby T. Wentz of Mocksville, NC; brother, Charles Lewis Tadlock of Columbia; brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, James and Rachel Jackson of Pineville and Freeda Jackson of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jeff Tadlock, Amy Lambert, Brandy Ford, Ashley Capo and Andrew Forrester; great grandchildren, Hayden, Mallory, Lilly, Luke, Lana, Evan, Sara and Olivia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gene Jackson in 2008, brother, William Douglas Tadlock, grandson, Jackson Andrew Forrester in 2008. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family. Friends may offer condolences to the family at www.raymerfh.com.
