Ashley Leamon Norris, Jr.

Ashley Leamon Norris, Jr, 74, of Cornelius, NC passed away Tuesday March 4, 2014. Ashley was born October 11, 1939 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Ashley and Sally Ann Eason Norris. Along with his parents, Ashley was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Norris in 2009. Ashley retired from Griffin Brothers Tire where he had worked for many years. He was a kind man, very giving and had a wonderful sense of humor. Many thanks to Larry Griffin and the Griffin Brothers family, for their love and support throughout the years. Ashley is survived by his closest friend and loving sister, Sylvia Wells, three children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. Interment will be private.
