Arthur Britton Hanner

Mr. Arthur Britton Hanner, 86, of South Hill VA formerly of Huntersville, NC died Wednesday December 14, 2011 at his daughter's home. Born May 11, 1925 in Mecklenburg County he was the son of the late Arthur Earl Hanner and Edna Lois Alexander Hanner. He retired from the maintenance department of Bowman Transportation Company. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 17 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Arthur Earl "Jack" Hanner and wife Bonnie of Charlotte; daughter, Diane Boaz and husband David of Kenbridge, VA ; grandchildren, Christy (Grant) Miller, Tammy Hanner, Shannon (Bryan) Anderson, Michael (Isabel) Hanner and Kyle Hanner; great grandchildren, Makena Diaz, Sloan Anderson and Matthew Hanner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Juanita Hart Hanner in 2002. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family.
