Today we gather not to mourn the passing of Arlene E. Stoffa but to celebrate a life that touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege to know her. Arlene, who passed away in North Carolina, leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Born in Clifton, NJ, in 1937 to her loving parents Frank Szenzenstein and Mary V. Szenzenstein, Arlene was a woman of unparalleled grace and compassion. Throughout her life, she embodied warmth and tenderness, always ready with a smile that could light up any room. Arlene's upbringing in New Jersey instilled in her a deep sense of loyalty and commitment, qualities that would define her relationships with her loved ones.
Arlene was a devoted wife to her late husband Steve Stoffa, a caring mother to her children Debra Mendyk (Paul), and Cheryl Dotoli (Lou). Her role as a grandmother to Justin, Eric, and Brianne Mendyk brought immense joy into her life. She adored her canine companion Lacey and feline friend Willis, showing the same love and affection she shared with all those around her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by her son Steve B. Stoffa, and sisters Marian, Delores, and Joyce. Her absence will be deeply felt by all those who had the privilege of knowing such a remarkable soul.
Arlene will be remembered for her passion for reading and baking, as well as her love for puzzles and crossword puzzles. Her nurturing spirit extended not only to her family but also to her pets whom she adored dearly. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she leaves behind memories that will be cherished for years to come.
