Antoni Kalinowski

Antoni Kalinowski passed away on November 9, 2018 surrounded by his family in Charlotte, NC.

He was born on January 12th, 1930 to the late Stanislawa and Stefan Kalinowski  in Wola Zambrzycka in Poland. He immigrated to United States where he worked as a metal miller  in Detroit, MI and later after being joined by his family from Poland he retired to Naples, FL and later moved to Cornelius, NC.

 He was a true family man whose extraordinary work ethic will always serve as a model for his surviving family: his wife Hanna Kalinowski, daughter Elizabeth Kalinowski both of Cornelius, NC; son Wes Kalinowski and daughter in-law Joanna Kalinowski of Riverview, FL; grandsons Kamil Kalinowski, Maximillian Dudek and Alexander Kalinowski and his granddaughter Maya Kalinowski.

 Along with his parents, Antoni joins in death his sisters: Jadwiga Lizewska, Zofia Sapinska, Janina Gwardiak, Stefania Ubas and his brother Jan Kalinowski of Poland.

 The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Carolinas Medical Center ICU for their care given to Antoni and all visitors and well-wishers who kept Antoni and our family in their thoughts and prayers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday,  November 13, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.  Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
