Anna McCall Stinson

Mrs. Anna McCall Stinson, 94, of Charlotte, NC died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Brian Center in Charlotte. Born January 25, 1917 in Elrod, NC she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Paul McCall. She was a member of Freedom Presbyterian Church and employed fourteen years at Presbyterian Hospital as a nurse. She loved her cats and gardening. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday July 25 at Freedom Presbyterian Church (corner Toddville Rd and Freedom Drive) with Rev. Gene Crazen officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service for thirty minutes at the church. She is survived by cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Claude William Bill Stinson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Freedom Presbyterian Church, 1646 Toddville Road Charlotte, NC 28214.
