Andrew Owens

Andrew J “Andy” Owens, 34, of Davidson, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Andrew was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 23, 1985 to the late J. Craig Owens and Candace Raymond Owens.

Andrew was a kind, gentle soul who loved his dogs, Zeke and Jewels. He also enjoyed his work at a local nursery/garden center.

Along with his father Andrew is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Valentine and Albert Raymond, and his paternal grandparents, Helen and Charles Owens.

He is survived by his mother, Candace Owens, of Davidson, NC, and uncle, Gordon Raymond, of Northfield, IL.

The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2019, with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:00 pm. Services will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC.

Andrew’s ashes will be joined with his maternal grandparent’s ashes at Northfield Community Church in Northfield, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to Villisca Good Samaritan Society, 202 N. Central Avenue, Villisca, IA 50864 in memory of Andrew’s grandmother, Helen Owens.
