Amelia Marie Dietz

Amelia Marie Dietz, 8, of Davidson, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Amelia was born February 9, 2007, in Littleton, CO, to Lisa Suzanne and Albert G. Dietz III. Amelia touched many hearts while attending the Davidson Day School, Dance Davidson, Ludmila European Music and Art Academy in Cornelius, NC, and the Ben Franklin Academy in Highland Ranch, CO. Along with piano and ballet, she loved being outdoors, biking, swimming and playing tennis. Amelia particularly loved the time she spent with her family hiking in Crested Butte, CO, and skiing in Copper Mountain, CO. She had an artistic flair and wanted to be a fashion designer in Paris when she grew up. Amelia is survived by her loving parents, Al and Lisa Dietz; sister, Audrey Dietz; paternal grandmother, Penelope Dempsey Dietz; maternal grandparents, Anna M. Hoier (Dana) and James P. Liebmann (Marian); maternal great-grandmother Marie Liebman; favorite cat, Alice; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her fraternal grandfather, Albert G. Dietz, Jr., and maternal step-grandmother Gertrude Liebmann. Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 30, 2015 in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2:30 pm until the time of service.
