Mrs. Amaryllis Amy Vaughn Linderman, 92, of Huntersville, NC died June 16, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital. Born December 27, 1918 in Duncan, SC she was a daughter of the late Thomas Caldwell Vaughn and Alice Lancaster Vaughn. She graduated from Asheville Teachers College with a BS in education and received her MS from Furman University. She retired as an elementary school teacher and was a charter member of Meadow Lake Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 18 at Meadow Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Fred Lowrance officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Mt Holly, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1:00 to 2:00) at the church. She is survived by her sons, Earl Linderman and wife Harriet of Statesville, Roger Linderman and wife Emily of Denver NC; grandchildren, Bill Linderman and wife Elizabeth, Carol Bennett and husband Marvin, Susan and Frank Linderman, Nancy Freeman and husband Bill; great grandchildren, Kate and Sam Bennett, Billy and Emma Freeman; nieces, Connie Dempsey and husband Jimmy, Becky Lollis and husband Doug and nephew, Wayne Pearson and wife Betty.
