Alice Grace Seibert, beloved daughter of Mark and Hayley Seibert, peacefully transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on January 24th, to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. She was born on January 3, 2018, and was named after her great grandmother, Alice Walsh, who was a very special lady to her entire family.
Alice Grace was diagnosed before birth with a rare chromosomal anomaly, Trisomy 18, or Edward's Syndrome. Throughout their pregnancy, Mark and Hayley kept their eyes on Jesus and prayed for the blessing of carrying their daughter full term, and their prayers were abundantly answered. Although the odds were stacked against her since birth, she defied the odds and touched the lives of so many people in the three weeks she lived earth side. She was small and fragile, but full of strength, the sweetest baby, and a true miracle.
Alice will always be remembered by her parents, Mark and Hayley Seibert, the best big brother, Layton Seibert, maternal grandparents, Bob and Terry Stewart, paternal grandparents, Earnie and Laurie Seibert, aunts and uncles, Scott & Melanie Stewart, Luke & Abby Stewart, Zac and Laura Stewart, Erica Ward, Melissa Seibert and fiancée Rob Martinsen, Aaron and Katie Dawson and a ton of beautiful and awesome cousins, Chase Stewart, Rylie Stewart, Addison Stewart, Braydon Stewart, Austin Stewart, Emily Ward, Maggie Ward and Addie Dawson.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home chapel, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078 beginning at 10:00a.m. (receiving of friends) and the service will begin at 11:00a.m. Our deepest gratitude is extended to the courageous doctors, nurses and staff at Levine Children’s Hospital and to Hospice of Cabarrus County staff who provided attentive, loving and extra special care to our precious daughter during this journey.
