Alice Goad Parsell

Alice Goad Parsell, 87, of Charlotte, NC passed away on July 8, 2018.

Alice was born in Floyd County, VA on May 16, 1931 to the late Robert Preston Goad and Lala Cox Goad.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Parsell and brother, Robert L. Goad.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Northdale Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Benton officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Cindy Parsell Kennedy ( Dennis) from Huntersville; son,  Donnie C. Parsell ( Jennifer) from Alexander; granddaughter, Amy Wolfe McIntosh  (Darin) from Davidson; grandsons, Danny R. Kennedy, Alex C. Parsell; great-grandsons, Andrew Michael Russell, Carson McIntosh; sister, Annie G. Shockley (Richard) from Roanoke, VA; nieces, Barbara M. Pace (Chick), Sandra M. Corchia (Vic); and grandnephew, Preston McGhee(Shellie).
