Alice Maureen Hansen

Mrs. Maureen Hansen, 69, of Huntersville NC formerly of Youngstown NY and Sewickley PA died at Carolinas Medical Center on November 24, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was with the family and at peace when she passed. Born December 8, 1941 in Lockport NY she was the daughter of the late John Francis Blackley and Mary Hugley Blackley. She was customer service manager for State Industrial Solutions in Charlotte for twenty one years. The love of her family and friends defines Maureens life. She was the beloved spouse of Bruce for 47 years, proud mother of Sue, Andy and Maureen, grandmother of Will, Ben and Daniel, sister of James, John and Margaret and a loyal friend to many. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Maureen lived her life to the fullest whether enjoying the day watching the water and wildlife from her home on Lake Norman or putting determined efforts into her work. Her wide smiles and laughter that always filled the room will be missed. Gods blessing on your journey Maureen. The family will receive friends Sunday November 28 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and Monday November 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Hardison Funeral Home in Lewiston NY.
