Alexander James Clelland

Alexander J. Clelland, of Concord, NC died May 29,2012. Born August 22, 1926 in Windsor, Ontario, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean Clelland. Alexander is survived by his wife of 58 years, Greta; sons, James and Michael; daughter,Jeanne Stimson and husband Scott, and grandchildren, Katie, Scott, Jr and Ian. Alex resided in Detroit and Southfield, Michigan for 70 years, before residing in the Villages, FL until 2008 and most recently Concord, NC. He attended Hillsdale College following his US Navy service during WWII. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 5 in the Chapel of Taylor Glen, Concord, NC. In lieu of flowers, it was Alex's request that you assist an active member of the military, or a veteran, or their family.
