Alexander Phillip Accardi

Alexander Phillip Accardi, 93, of Charlotte died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at his residence. Born September 29, 1919 in Brooklyn NY he was a son of the late Anthony and Antonia Palmentari Accardi. He was a WW II Coast Guard Veteran and retired singer Sewing Machine salesman. A Funeral Mass will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Charlotte. Burial will be conducted in Selden, NY. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Marilyn Fox of Fort Mill, SC, Arlene Rainieri of Charlotte and Deborah Glickman of New York; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Delia Accardi. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family.
