Agnes Canevari, 64, known to her family and friends as Aggie, of Cornelius, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018.Aggie Canevari was born in New York City on June 28th, 1953 to Mary Telesca and the late John Telesca.
Filled with undeniable compassion and interest in others and children, Aggie made friends easily and maintained contact with many throughout her life. She pursued and received a Bachelors Degree of Science with a concentration in Education from C.W. Post, NY. She went on to work as a Special Education teacher at PS 91, Queens, NY, prior to starting a family.
Aggie’s biggest accomplishment, pride, and honor was being the mother to her four children. The unconditional love and commitment she had to her ownfamily and kids as well as hundreds of friends and children who were lucky enough to cross her path, albeit the classroom, kitchen table, neighborhood, car pools, soccer fields, dance studios, basketball games, concerts, our local grocery store or even pharmacy, as well as the countless house gatherings as her door was ALWAYS open go unparalleled. Her selfless acts of genuine love, compassion, and empathy were consistent to all that knew her. Aggie had such positive energy, unconditional love for people, a devotion to all children, and a quest to always lend an ear to anyone in need. She brought out the best in all that sought her love by intrinsically providing guidance, which was no doubt a butterfly affect for the goodness in this world.
